Course Description
This 1 day course is aimed at users with little or no previous experience.
It will provide an overview to the way in which the software records and edits both MIDI and Audio.
The course will include the following topics:
- A guide to Cubase editors and main Project Window
- Setting up Input and Output Busses
- Recording Audio using a microphone
- Importing Audio from a music CD
- Working with loops and samples in the MediaBay
- Introduction to time-stretch and pitch-shift
- Using the Cubase mixer
- Recording MIDI data
- Setting upand using MIDI controllers
- Using the MIDI Drum Editor
- Exporting audio and MIDI to CD
- Saving, archiving and backing up data
- Common classroom technical problems with Cubase
