A large part of our work consists of devising and delivering customised one-day INSET courses to individuals and groups of teachers within their own school or college. This approach to professional development ensures that courses meet the specific needs of the delegates and when practical work is involved, this is done using the school equipment. Studio Design
and Building Projects:

Whilst we at MTC are not a major equipment retailer, we work in close partnership with Absolute Music Solutions and can provide a fully comprehensive design, specification, installation and training package for recording studios and music computer suites. We have a wealth of experience in supporting schools throughout the entire process of design, specification and build, and work from the premise of devising spaces and equipment specifications that facilitate maximum learning opportunities.

Music Computer Networks

Currently, one of the most frequent reasons that we are called into schools is to address the ubiquitous issue of getting music computers to run effectively on the school network.

This is a highly complex issue, and an area in which we have much expertise. We have helped many schools solve issues relating to latency, data loss, audio drop-outs etc, and have an extensive understanding of how to configure Cubase and other software within a school network environment. If you are having stability issues and your IT support staff can’t get to the bottom of the problem, give us a call!

We are also able to devise and supply custom Music Computer Networks, whereby we will purpose build and configure PCs and servers to suit the needs of your department. Working with our PC partner we are able to provide a guaranteed music network that can stream multitrack audio to multiple workstations without any problems. Our network solutions are fine tuned to suit the needs and requirements of music software but still provide the desirable data management and computer administration functionality of a more conventional network.
